ABOUT THE ARTIST
The act of painting is a visual conversation between Arran and the surface he works with; in his practice the surface is just as important as the marks he adds to it. In this collection of work Arran has attempted to visually document the passage of time. For each piece he began by placing linen and canvas on his studio floor and allowing the material to be walked on by visitors. This allowed for the layering of marks to accrue over a long period of time. Following the floor process, Arran added gestured linear marks by hand intended to reflect movement over a short period of time. In doing this Arran has created a juxtaposition between the slower and more subtle marks with the faster and more vibrant marks, resulting in abstract yet highly conscious works.

We currently offer a white glove delivery service in the UK and EU. Please note that shipping time is not included in our lead time and prices will be estimated once we know the items you wish to purchase and the delivery address.

Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return and refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at sales@daramaison.com.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you return instructions. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
